Maxwell Takes Third as Golden Eagles Finish Fourth at Austin Peay Intercollegiate
The Tennessee Tech men’s golf team turned in a strong showing Tuesday, finishing fourth overall at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate at Greystone Golf Club.

DICKSON, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech men's golf team turned in a strong showing Tuesday, finishing fourth overall at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate at Greystone Golf Club.
The Golden Eagles posted a final-round 287 to finish at 863 (-1) for the tournament, placing fourth in a competitive 16-team field.
Tennessee Tech was powered by another standout performance from Haden Maxwell, who secured a third-place individual finish at 209 (-7). Maxwell capped his week with a 2-under 70 in the final round, continuing his consistent play across all three rounds.
Bryson White also delivered a strong finish for Tech, tying for seventh overall at 213 (-3). White carded a 73 (+1) in the final round to lock in his top-10 placement.
Nick Etherton added a solid performance, tying for 24th at 219 (+3), while Cooper Gettler climbed into a tie for 33rd at 222 (+6) after a final-round 71 (-1).
As a team, the Golden Eagles placed three golfers inside the top 25 and four inside the top 35, showcasing depth throughout the lineup.
