The Media Relations office at Tennessee Tech University is one of the busiest behind-the-scenes departments on campus. The Media Relations staff coordinates and distributes publicity of all 14 intercollegiate sports teams and more than 300 student-athletes, and also works closely with all of the department's promotions and marketing efforts.

The Media Relations offices are located in Eblen Center.

The TTU Media Relations Office, in conjunction with Presto Sports, presents official information on Tennessee Tech University Athletics at its official site, TTUsports.com.

The primary purpose of the Tennessee Tech Media Relations Office is to serve as a liaison between TTU athletics' administration, coaches, and student-athletes and the local, state and national media.

The staff works to facilitate the requests of TTU officials and athletes, as well as print and electronic media in order to ensure the best possible media coverage of Golden Eagle athletics. The department provides a wide range of other services to meet the ever-growing needs of media covering collegiate sports, as well as to assist other information-seeking organizations and individuals. In addition, the department serves as the chief public relations branch of TTU athletics, keeping image a top priority in its dealings with media, fans, and others wishing to learn more about Tennessee Tech athletics and its people.

The Media Relations office offers updates via social media outlets - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more. Tech's Media Relations office also oversees broadcasting efforts of all Golden Eagle events provided over the radio and in-house video streams.
