Haden Maxwell Wins Second Straight OVC Golfer of the Month Honor
Tennessee Tech men’s golfer Haden Maxwell earned his second straight OVC Golfer of the Month after taking home the award for September and October, as announced today by the conference.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech men's golfer Haden Maxwell earned his second straight OVC Golfer of the Month after taking home the award for September and October, as announced today by the conference.
In two events, Maxwell had a pair of runner-up finishes, each time finishing two strokes behind the medalist. The senior averaged 70.0 strokes per round with three total rounds below par. He began the month at The Scrappy at Cobblestone, finishing with an even par score of 213, which included a second-round score of 68.
At Xavier, he finished at 207 (-3) with a round of 65, marking the third-lowest round in the OVC during the fall season.
Maxwell finished the fall season with the lowest average score per round (69.7) in the OVC. Appearing in 15 rounds with 1,045 total strokes. He grabbed two wins in back-to-back tournaments at The Grover Page Classic and The Carolina Cup.
