Jacob Rose Signs with Tennessee Tech Men’s Golf
Tennessee Tech men’s golf adds Jacob Rose to its 2026 signing class, as announced today by the program.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech men's golf adds Jacob Rose to its 2026 signing class, as announced today by the program.
Jacob Rose joins the Golden Eagles after spending last year with Division II Lee University, located in Cleveland, Tenn. Lee ended the 2025 season as the No. 2 team in the South Region.
"Very excited to welcome Jacob to the Golden Eagle golf family." Said Head Coach Polk Brown. "He is a tremendous player who will make an immediate impact on our team. We are looking forward to him joining us in the fall."
In his only season with Lee, Rose helped the Flames take the top two team spots at the Dunning Invitational. He shot 75-78-80 over the three rounds, helping secure the sweep for Team A and Team B. It marked his only appearance with Lee during the 2025 season.
In 2024, he was named Knoxville Golf Boys Junior Player of the Year. He tied for first in the AJGA Owensboro Championship, shooting nine under (70,70.67). Rose was selected captain of the GCA Varsity Golf Team and to the All 5-Star PrepXtra Golf Team. Earned a fourth-place medal in the 2024 TSSAA DII State Championship at Sevierville Golf Club.
Also, Rose took home the Tennessee Junior PGA Championship at Franklin Bridge GC in June of 2024. He earned a spot in the 2024 national PGA Junior Championship. Rose shot nine under (65, 68) to win.
Rose intends to major in Business Administration.
