COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Tech returns to Ohio Valley Conference play this weekend, hosting Western Illinois for a three-game set at Quillen Field at Bush Stadium.
The Golden Eagles look to build momentum after a midweek split, including a 12-6 offensive outburst against Middle Tennessee before a narrow 10-7 setback to North Alabama.

About Tennessee Tech (14-28, 3-12 OVC)
The Golden Eagles continue to show flashes of one of the league's most explosive offenses, batting .267 as a team with 51 home runs and 248 RBIs this season.
At the center of Tech's lineup is Jorsixt Jimenez, who has emerged as one of the OVC's premier hitters. The slugger leads the team with a .376 average, 16 home runs, and 53 RBIs while posting an .819 slugging percentage.
