SCHEDULE RELEASE: Tennessee Tech Baseball is set for 2026 Campaign
Tennessee Tech Baseball announces its 2026 Schedule, which opens with a three-game series Feb. 13-15 at Texas A&M. The Golden Eagles play their first home series on Feb. 17-22 against Lipscomb and Ohio at Bush Stadium.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech Baseball announces its 2026 Schedule, which opens with a three-game series Feb. 13-15 at Texas A&M. The Golden Eagles play their first home series on Feb. 17-22 against Lipscomb and Ohio at Bush Stadium.

It's the 103rd year of baseball with the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles ready to build on a successful 2025 season that saw them earn 37 wins and finish third in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). It marks the final season in the OVC for the Golden Eagles, and a challenging slate of games for the 14-time OVC Champions (10 regular season, 4 tournament titles).
Tech looks to regain its 2018 force when it won 53 games and qualified for the NCAA Tournament, taking down No. 2 Ole Miss to advance to a Super Regional for the first time in program history, led by a solid group of returners and newcomers.
The Golden Eagles open the 2026 season at No. 25 Texas A&M (D1 Baseball). The Aggies finished the 2025 season 30-26 overall and fell to National Champion No. 1 LSU (4-3) in the SEC Tournament, missing out on the NCAA Tournament after beginning the season as the No. 1-ranked team in the country. This will be the first series in matchup history on Feb. 13-15 in College Station, Texas. Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 12 p.m. CT.
TTU opens at home on Tuesday, Feb. 17, against Lipscomb, with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. CT at Bush Stadium. That leads into an opening home weekend against Ohio from Friday, Feb. 20, through Sunday, Feb. 22. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 3 p.m., Saturday at 12 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
The Golden Eagles hit the road for the first of two matchups with Middle Tennessee State on Tuesday, Feb. 24. First pitch at 3 p.m.
Tech hosts the Holiday Inn Classic featuring UIC (Illinois-Chicago), Alabama A&M, and Notre Dame at Bush Stadium for a weekend round robin. The Golden Eagles face UIC on Friday, Feb. 27, at 4 p.m., Alabama A&M on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m., and Notre Dame on Sunday, Mar. 1, at 2 p.m. The first ESPN+ broadcast at home this season will be against Notre Dame on Mar. 1.
TTU Baseball hits the road to Georgia Southern on Friday, Mar. 6, through Sunday, Mar. 8, and then travels across the state to Knoxville to face the Volunteers on Tuesday, Mar. 10. Friday's contest at GSU is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Saturday at 11 a.m., and Sunday is scheduled for 12 p.m. CT.
After the matchup at Tennessee, the Golden Eagles have a quick turnaround against Belmont back at Bush Stadium on Wednesday, Mar. 11 at 4 p.m.
That leads into a series against SoCon foe, Mercer, on Mar. 13-15 at Bush Stadium. First pitch on Friday, Mar. 13, is scheduled for 6 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 14, at 2 p.m., and Sunday, Mar. 15, at 1 p.m.
A quick trip to Huntsville, Alabama, on Tuesday, Mar. 17, at North Alabama (Time: TBA) is sandwiched between two homestands for the Golden Eagles.
Little Rock comes to Cookeville for the first OVC series of the season on Mar. 20-22. The regular 6 p.m. start on Friday, 2 p.m. start on Saturday, and 1 p.m. first pitch on Sunday is scheduled.
Tech travels to Nashville to face Vanderbilt, which went 43-18 overall last season and qualified for the postseason in its own regional, on Tuesday, Mar. 24 at 6 p.m. CT. The Golden Eagles and Commodores have met 74 times on the baseball diamond.
The Golden Eagles jump back into conference play with a three-game road series against SIUE on Mar. 27-29. Game 1 is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 27. Game 2 is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 28, and Game 3 is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 29 in Edwardsville, Ill.
TTU returns to non-conference play with a road-matchup at Western Kentucky at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 31.
Tech returns to Bush Stadium for a three-game OVC series against Eastern Illinois from Thursday, Apr. 2, to Saturday, Apr. 4. Game times are 6 p.m. on Thursday, 6 p.m. on Friday, and 2 p.m. on Saturday during Easter Weekend. Then host Austin Peay on Tuesday, Apr. 7 (6 p.m.).
The Golden Eagles, who have been on the road for four games, will travel to UT Martin for a three-game series from April 10-12. The game times at UT Martin are scheduled for 5 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Tech stays on the road, facing Austin Peay for the second time in a week, this time in Clarksville on Tuesday, Apr. 14, at 6 p.m.
The Golden Eagles play their longest homestand of the season, eight straight games at Bush Stadium against SEMO (Apr. 17-19), a Tuesday, Apr. 21 rematch against Middle Tennessee State, a Wednesday, Apr. 22 rematch against North Alabama, and a three-game series against Western Illinois on Apr. 24-26.
Tech travels to Lipscomb on Tuesday, Apr. 28, at 6 p.m. from Ken Dugan Field.
TTU stays on the road for the final two OVC road series at Southern Indiana on May 1-3 and at Lindenwood on May 8-10.
The Golden Eagles close the regular season at home against Morehead State on Thursday, May 14, through Saturday, May 16. First pitches are 6 p.m., 6 p.m., and 2 p.m.
The OVC Tournament runs May 19-23 in Marion, Ill., and the NCAA postseason begins on June 29.
