Tech Baseball Heads to Nashville for Tuesday Clash at Vanderbilt
The Golden Eagles play a non-conference road game against Vanderbilt in Nashville Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and can be watched live on SEC Network+.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Golden Eagles play a non-conference road game against Vanderbilt in Nashville on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and can be watched live on SEC Network+.
Tech (9-15, 0-3 OVC) is looking to end a three-game losing skid after dropping a conference-opening series against Little Rock over the weekend. Vanderbilt (13-12, 2-4 SEC) has lost five straight, including four in a row in SEC play, entering Tuesday's game.

TENNESSEE TECH BASEBALL GAME NOTES
LAST GAME
The Golden Eagles (9-15, 0-3 OVC) trailed 7-3 entering the seventh inning before erupting for seven runs over the next two frames, highlighted by a six-run eighth that briefly gave Tech the lead. Jorsixt Jimenez paced the offense with a monster performance, going 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs, while Owen Lee added a two-run homer as part of his two-RBI day.
After Little Rock built a 7-3 advantage through five innings, Tech answered in the seventh on Jimenez's solo blast. The Golden Eagles then surged ahead in the eighth, as Landon Smelser launched a three-run homer before Jimenez delivered again with a three-run shot to cap the rally and put Tech in front, 10-7.
Little Rock (14-10, 3-0 OVC) responded in the ninth, scoring four runs, including a go-ahead three-run home run from Kade Smith, to reclaim an 11-10 lead.
HIM-ENEZ
Jorsixt Jimenez has homered in three straight games and six of the last seven games. Jimenez launched two home runs in the finale on Sunday, marking his first multi-homer game of the season. He has driven in 17 runs in his last eight games. Jimenez has hit .361 (13x36) with one double, one triple, seven home runs, and 17 RBI over the last eight games. He's slugging 1.028 and reaching base at a .425 clip. Jimenez has reached base in all 24 games played this season. Jimenez leads the team with a .337 batting average, 10 homers, 38 RBI, and a .772 slugging percentage. Jimenez's 38 RBI lead the OVC. GAME-WINNING HR
Cade Fuller hit what proved to be a game-winning two-run home run at North Alabama. Fuller faced a 2-2 count with two outs in the top of the 9th and launched a home run to right field, scoring Aaron Moffitt and giving the Golden Eagles a 10-9 win. The one-run win earned the second consecutive victory for the Golden Eagles.
