Wisconsin and Samford will play the first match on Friday in the Starkville group of four at 10 a.m. The two victors will then meet on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the right to advance to the Sweet 16.
Tech will be making its 12th NCAA Tournament appearance and sixth in the last decade. The Golden Eagles appeared in Starkville in the 2018 tournament, where they fell 4-0 at Mississippi State in the first round.
Tech will enter the battle with the Bulldogs on a nine-match winning streak.
Mississippi State is making its 15th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs (22-5) will be hosting the first and second rounds for the fourth-straight year. Mississippi State took home 11 SEC victories to tie for the second-most in program history.
