Tech Women's Golf Takes Third for Fourth Straight Year; Julian Earns First Top-10 Finish at OVC Championship

DALTON, Ga. – Tennessee Tech women's golf finished third (+79) at the OVC Championship for the fourth straight year. Lexus Julian recorded her first Top 10 finish at the conference championship in seventh (+18).
The Golden Eagles posted round scores of +35, +26, and +18, improving their team score in each round to secure a podium finish behind Little Rock (+52) and Morehead State (+71).
Leading the way for Tech was Lexus Julian, who turned in a breakthrough performance with a seventh-place finish at +18, marking her first career top-10 showing at the OVC Championship. Julian opened with a +9 and followed with rounds of +6 and +3, climbing the leaderboard over the final two days.
Kaydi Rhodes also delivered a steady effort for the Golden Eagles, finishing 11th overall at +20 with rounds of +8, +6, and +6 to narrowly miss a top-10 placement.
Chloe Griffith added a solid performance, tying for 12th at +22 (rounds of +5, +9, +8), while Kailey Lane finished tied for 16th at +27, highlighted by a strong +5 second round.
As a team, Tennessee Tech showed consistency and resilience throughout the championship, trimming nine strokes off its score from round one to round three. The Golden Eagles' ability to improve each day underscored their depth and competitiveness on the conference stage.
With four straight third-place finishes, Tech continues to establish itself as one of the OVC's most consistent programs, highlighted this year by Julian's emergence as a top individual contender.
