Tech Women’s Golf Opens 2025 Season with Total Athlete Collegiate
Tennessee Tech women’s golf opens the 2025 season in the Total Athlete Collegiate at Country Club of North / Jack Nicklaus on Sept. 8, hosted by Murray State.

XENIA, Ohio – Tennessee Tech women's golf opens the 2025 season in the Total Athlete Collegiate at Country Club of North / Jack Nicklaus on Sept. 8, hosted by Murray State.
"It's always great to start the season with a well-rounded event. This Tournament includes some great team bonding exercises along with an amazing golf course. The ladies are looking forward to competing after coming off some great qualifying these last few weeks" - Head Coach Amanda Smith.
Tennessee Tech hits the course at 7:30 a.m. CT and will face a deep and talented field including hosts Murray State, Akron, Youngstown State, Bellarmine, Cederville, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, and Northern Kentucky.

LINEUP:
The Golden Eagles return a squad with two seniors (Sydney Branson, Kaydi Rhodes), three juniors (Lydia Baker, Chloe Griffith, Lexus Julian), one sophomore (Kailey Lane), and one redshirt freshman (Summer Pilot) to round out the 2025-26 roster.
Tennessee Tech finished the 2024-25 season with a third-place showing at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships for the third straight year. Griffith earned a spot on the OVC All-Tournament Team after finishing fifth. Griffith broke her own program record for single-season scoring average (75.35). Rhodes tied for 18th. The Golden Eagles posted 72-over to finish third as a team at the 2025 OVC Championships.
