Golden Eagles in Second Through 36 Holes at Total Athlete Collegiate

XENIA, Ohio – Tennessee Tech women's golf is second following two rounds of the Total Athlete Collegiate Country Club of North / Jack Nicklaus hosted by Murray State.
The Golden Eagles enter the clubhouse in second (+15, 295; 1st Rd, 296; 2nd Rd) after a jam-packed 36 holes, completing the first two rounds of the Total Athlete Collegiate. Kailey Lane led Tech with a second-round 70, shooting even par and tied for fifth after 36 holes.
Total Athlete Collegiate Notes:
- Lane posted three birdies and 14 pars during the second round of today's action.
- Chloe Griffith is tied for seventh (+3) after rounds of 71 and 76.
- Kaydi Rhodes is tied for 13th (+6) after rounds of 76 and 74.
- Lexus Julian is tied for 17th (+8) after rounds of 74 and 78.
- Competing as an individual, Sydney Branson (+9) is tied for 20th after rounds of 79 and 74.
- Lydia Baker made three straight birdies on 14, 15, and 16 to finish 29th (+13).
Tech led all teams on par fours, shooting an average of 4.13 and led the field with 115 pars through 36 holes. The Golden Eagles sank 23 birdies which is second among the field.
Lane was outstanding on par fours, carding an average of 3.85 and finishing three under on those holes. She also led the field with 27 pars. She made five birdies, tying for the fourth-most made amongst the field today.
Griffith sank six birdies, the third most among all individuals. Baker made five birdies. Julian dropped four birdies. Branson and Rhodes sank three birdies.
