MORGANTON, N.C. – Tennessee Tech women's golf is looking to capitalize on a third-place finish in its last tournament at the Mimosa Invitational.
Tech's third-place finish is the second-highest finish of the year after taking second to open the fall campaign at the Total Athlete Collegiate back in September. The Golden Eagles have had eight Top 10 individual finishes and 11 Top 20.
Lexus Julian had a career weekend with three straight rounds of 76 to climb into a tie for sixth, marking her second Top 10 finish. Julian finished at 12 over among a very competitive field featuring opponents from across the nation.
Kaydi Rhodes logged her second Top 10 of the season, finishing with rounds of 76, 75, 78 to card a 13 over and land in 10th. Rhodes leads the team with a 75.6 average through 24 rounds so far during the 2025-26 season. She is fifth in the OVC with her average.
Chloe Griffith is not far behind Rhodes with an average of 76.2, which puts her seventh in the conference.
Kailey Lane tied for 22nd at 18 over, and only one shot out of a Top 20 finish, which would've been her fourth of the season. Lane will look to continue her strong play into the final regular-season tournament. Lane is tied for eighth in the OVC with a 76.4 average per round.
Tennessee Tech is the only OVC member in the field but features Top 115-ranked foes like Charlotte (92) and UNCG (111). Charlotte has the No. 59 women's golfer in the NCAA, Pinky Chaisilprungruang.
