Tech Women's Golf Holds Strong in Third After Two Rounds at Bentwater
Tennessee Tech women’s golf continued its strong spring play Monday, holding third place after two rounds of the Bentwater Women’s Collegiate at Bentwater Golf Club.

ACWORTH, Ga. — Tennessee Tech women's golf continued its strong spring play Monday, holding third place after two rounds of the Bentwater Women's Collegiate at Bentwater Golf Club.
The Golden Eagles posted rounds of 308 and 307 for a 36-hole total of 615 (+39), remaining firmly in contention entering the final round. Tech sits just one stroke behind second-place Kennesaw State and within striking distance of tournament leader Louisville.
Tennessee Tech's lineup delivered another balanced effort, placing five golfers inside the top 45 and two among the top 11 individually.
Leading the way, Kaydi Rhodes continued her strong tournament with a two-round total of 151 (+7), tying for fifth overall among a crowded leaderboard that features multiple players in the top five.
Lexus Julian followed with a steady performance of her own, finishing the day in 11th place at 152 (+8), while Chloe Griffith added a top-20 finish, tying for 18th at 156 (+12). Kailey Lane (T-25, 157, +13) and Sydney Branson (T-41, 160, +16) rounded out Tech's team scoring, continuing the squad's consistent play across both rounds.
Individually, Summer Pilot delivered one of the highlights of the day for the Golden Eagles, tying for 18th at 156 (+12) behind a strong opening-round 74, while Lydia Baker also competed as an individual.
Through two rounds, Tech improved by a stroke in round two and remains in a tight race near the top of the leaderboard, with just 13 strokes separating the top five teams.
