Golden Eagles Land Four on All-OVC Women’s Golf Teams, Rhodes takes home First-Team Honors
Tennessee Tech’s women’s golf team earned strong recognition from the Ohio Valley Conference on Thursday, placing four student-athletes on the 2025-26 All-OVC teams as voted on by the league’s head coaches.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech's women's golf team earned strong recognition from the Ohio Valley Conference on Thursday, placing four student-athletes on the 2025-26 All-OVC teams as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Senior Kaydi Rhodes headlined the group with a selection to the All-OVC First Team, while juniors Chloe Griffith and Lexus Julian and sophomore Kailey Lane were each named to the All-OVC Second Team.
Rhodes makes her second straight appearance on the All-OVC Team. Griffith and Lane also make repeat appearances on the All-Conference team, with Griffith taking home OVC All-Newcomer team honors in 2023-24 and All-OVC selection in 2024-25.
Rhodes' first-team honor comes on the heels of a consistent and impressive campaign, as the Jackson, Mo., native ranked among the league leaders with a 75.6 scoring average across 27 rounds entering postseason play. She posted one top-five finish and three top-10 efforts during the regular season, helping lead the Golden Eagles throughout the year.
Griffith and Lane, both key contributors in Tech's lineup, finished the regular season tied for eighth in the OVC with identical 76.6 scoring averages. Griffith recorded three top-10 finishes and three top-20 efforts, while Lane added multiple top-10 performances of her own to bolster the Golden Eagles' depth.
Julian rounded out Tech's honorees after compiling a 77.8 average and contributing valuable rounds throughout the season, including a top-10 finish and consistent scoring in the team's lineup.
The quartet played a pivotal role in Tennessee Tech finishing the regular season with the third-lowest team scoring average (304.3) in the conference, positioning the Golden Eagles as contenders entering the OVC Championship.
The OVC Player of the Year and Coach of the Year awards will be announced following the conclusion of the conference championship on April 21.
