COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Heading into the second half of the Ohio Valley Conference schedule, the Tennessee Tech softball team is looking to be in great shape, but there's still a lot of work to do.
With Southern Indiana coming in for a three-game series on Saturday and Sunday, it certainly won't be easy.
The two teams will square off in a doubleheader Saturday, starting at noon, then a single game on Sunday at noon. The series will also be streamed on ESPN+ (subscription required) with Dylan Vazzano on the call.
This weekend is also the team's Pitchin' For Paws campaign as fans are urged to donate bags of dry Purina or Pedigree dog food with each bag of 18 pounds or larger providing one entry into a drawing for prizes, including Grand Ole Opry tickets, a grooming certificate from Peachy Clean Pet Spa and more. The dogs in attendance could also compete in a peanut butter eating contest between the fourth and fifth inning.
