The Golden Eagles have won three of the last four games, looking to climb into an OVC Tournament spot with six conference games remaining on the schedule. Tech travels to Morehead State for Thursday's contest against the 6th-place Eagles.

Tennessee Tech Game Notes at Morehead State
LAST GAME
The Golden Eagles (10-15, 5-9 OVC) erased a 17-point second-half deficit and pulled even late, but Eastern Illinois (10-15, 6-8) sealed the game at the free-throw line in the final two minutes. The loss snaps a three-game winning streak for the Golden Eagles and puts them two games out of the final OVC Tournament spot (9th) with six games left in the regular season.
JaJuan Nicholls finished 9-of-16 (56.2%) from the field for a career-high 23 points and added a career-high 12 rebounds as Tech dominated stretches in the paint. Jacobe Whitted added a career-high 10 points, while Ja'Quavian Florence scored seven off the bench. Brandon Muntu chipped in five points, including a game-tying 3-pointer with 3:22 remaining.

Tech is fifth in the OVC in scoring offense, averaging 74.72 points per game. TTU leads the conference in free-throw percentage, shooting 74.4 (380-511) from the line. Tech is fifth in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 45.1 (653-1449) from the field. Tech is fourth in the conference in three-point shooting percentage, at 32.9% (182-554).
The Golden Eagles are third in the OVC in three-point FG made, sinking 182 (7.28 per game). JaJuan Nicholls leads the team and is 20th in the conference with 4.88 rebounds per game (122 total). Nicholls ranks second in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 64.1% (107-167) on the season.
Ty Owens is sixth in the OVC in assists, making 3.68 per game (92 total). Brandon Muntu is 8th in the OVC in three-point FG made with 48 total (1.92 per game). Mekhi Cameron is 13th in the conference in the same category, making 37 (1.48 per game).
