MARTIN, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech saw its beach volleyball season come to a close on the second day of the Ohio Valley Conference Beach Volleyball Championships at UT Martin as No. 4-seeded Morehead State claimed a 3-0 victory over the Golden Eagles. Audrey Kilgore and Cristina Rotola took Morehead’s Logan Smith and Amelia Nott to the brink in the No. 4 matchup as the MSU pair took the first set 21-10 before the Tech duo won the second 21-19. It all came down to the tiebreaker as Smith and Nott had to go to extra points to claim an 18-16 win.
MARTIN, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech was battling with UT Martin on Thursday in the opening round of the Ohio Valley Conference Beach Volleyball Championships, but the Skyhawks were able to close out three pairings before the Golden Eagles could clinch one, giving UTM a 3-0 victory.
MARTIN, Tenn. – It’s a brand new start for Tennessee Tech beach volleyball as the Golden Eagles head to UT Martin on Thursday to open the Ohio Valley Conference Beach Volleyball Championships. The Golden Eagles will take on tournament host and No. 3-seed UT Martin with the match scheduled for a Noon start. The winner will advance to take on No. 2 Lindenwood at 3 PM on Thursday, while the loser will face the losing side of No. 1 Chattanooga and No. 4 Morehead State/No. 5 Eastern Illinois at 10 AM on Friday as they try to work their way back into the winner’s bracket.
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Tennessee Tech finished the Ohio Valley Conference regular season on Saturday with a pair of shortened matches to try to beat impending weather, taking a 3-1 loss to Eastern Illinois and a 3-0 loss to Chattanooga. The Golden Eagles will compete in next week’s OVC Beach Volleyball Championship in Martin, Tenn., taking on the host Skyhawks on Thursday at Noon. The winner between the No. 3 Skyhawks and No. 6 Golden Eagles will take on No. 2 Lindenwood at 4 PM, while the loser will compete in the consolation bracket on Friday at Noon.
MOREHEAD, Ky. – Tennessee Tech battled with Lindenwood on Friday morning, but despite the close scores, the Lions were able to take the day’s first action in the second Ohio Valley Conference weekend at Morehead State. The Golden Eagles fell to Lindenwood 5-0 in the opener, then fell to UT Martin in the late morning session 5-0.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech collected a win in the sand Saturday as the Golden Eagles split its final day at the Austin Peay Invitational, claiming a 3-2 victory over Southwest Baptist before the host Governors claimed a 3-2 win over Tech. The Golden Eagles conclude the regular season next week at Morehead State at the second Ohio Valley Conference Play Day weekend.
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech saw three pairings go to three sets as the Golden Eagles battled with Eastern Illinois in the first day of the Austin Peay Invitational on Friday, but the Panthers took the match 4-1. Tech finished the day with a 5-0 defeat against Missouri State. Tech (2-17, 0-6 OVC) returns to action on Friday and Saturday as the Golden Eagles compete at the APSU Classic in Clarksville.
CHATTANOOGA – Ohio Valley Conference preseason favorite Chattanooga took the first match against the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team on Friday during the first day of the OVC Play Day weekend, but the Golden Eagles wouldn’t go away empty-handed as Tech picked up a point against Lindenwood in the nightcap. Tech (2-15) continues the OVC meet on Saturday as it takes on Eastern Illinois at 11 AM and UT Martin at 5 PM.
CHATTANOOGA – While the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team got the Ohio Valley Conference slate started last week against Morehead State, the Golden Eagles will be in the thick of conference competition on Friday and Saturday for the first of two OVC Play Day events this weekend in Chattanooga. The Golden Eagles will take on the Mocs at 9 AM CT on Friday, before facing Lindenwood at 5 PM CT. Saturday will see Tech face Eastern Illinois at 11 AM CT, followed by UT Martin at 5 PM CT.
LOUISVILLE, Tenn. – MK Roberts made the best of her Senior Day outing on Thursday as the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team opened Ohio Valley Conference play against Morehead State at K2 Volleyball. Roberts, along with Vivian RoBards at the No. 1-spot, fought for every point as the duo fell 21-15 in the first set, then overcame Morehead’s top duo of M.E. Hargan and Bella Marita 22-20 in the second to force the tiebreaker. The Golden Eagle leaders claimed the 15-13 victory in the extra session to claim Tech’s lone point in the Thursday matches.

CONWAY, S.C. – South Florida made Tennessee Tech work for every point on Saturday on the final day of the Coastal Carolina Invitational as the Bulls swept the Golden Eagles 5-0. Tech (2-9) returns to action on Tuesday and Thursday as it hosts its lone “home” action of the season as it hosts Colorado Mesa at 11 AM and 1 PM Central on Tuesday, then opens Ohio Valley Conference play on Thursday at 10 AM and 12 PM Central, weather permitting.
CONWAY, S.C. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team picked up a victory on the first day of the Coastal Carolina Invitational on Friday as the Golden Eagles defeated Salem College 4-1. Tech (2-8) later fell 5-0 to host Coastal Carolina. The Golden Eagles complete the tournament on Saturday morning as they take on South Florida at 8 AM CT.
CONWAY, S.C. – The road trip continues for the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team. After a jaunt to Atlanta for the Georgia State Day of Duals, the Golden Eagles now head to Conway, S.C., to compete Friday and Saturday in the Coastal Carolina Invitational. On Friday, Tech will take on Salem College at 10 AM, then event host Coastal Carolina at 4 PM. The event concludes on Saturday morning as the Golden Eagles take on South Florida at 8 AM.

The Golden Eagles won one and almost took a second pairing against Austin Peay as the Governors won 4-1, while Eastern Kentucky and host Georgia State swept both matches.
ATLANTA – After claiming its first win of the season this past Saturday, the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team will have a busy day on tap Wednesday as the Golden Eagles head to Atlanta to compete in the Georgia State Day of Duals. Tech (1-4) will see three opponents on Wednesday as it takes on Austin Peay at 11:30 AM, Eastern Kentucky at 1:30 PM and host Georgia State at 5:30 PM. MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team is back in action this weekend as the Golden Eagles compete in the Berry Beach Kickoff, taking on event host Berry College at 3 PM Friday, then takes on the Vikings again at 8 AM Saturday before facing LaGrange at 10 AM.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech had a tough start to the 2026 beach volleyball season as the Golden Eagles ran into a buzzsaw with undefeated Carson-Newman on Friday. The host Eagles took both matches Friday by identical 5-0 scores to improve to 7-0 on the season.
