WHAT TO WATCH FOR
The Golden Eagles look to build off a strong showing at the Tennessee Invite, where they recorded multiple personal bests and top finishes across the board.
Tech's sprint group made an immediate impact, led by freshman Kennedi Winbush, who posted two personal records with a 23.85 in the 200m and an 11.72 in the 100m.
The 400m group continued its strong season, with Hannah Little running a 56.49, while Kyla Joy added a 57.02 personal record.
In the 800m, Paris Bowles delivered another strong performance, clocking 2:15.82.
In the field events, Tech's jumpers produced strong results. Madison Johnson cleared 1.65m to finish 3rd in the high jump, while Ally Beneke matched the mark to take 4th. In the triple jump, Chase Wolfenbarger recorded a personal-best leap of 11.34m, and Asharee Davis followed with a career-best jump of 11.22m.
The distance squad continued to perform well, led by Jane Lokiles and Rylee Wells, who both recorded personal bests in the 5000m — Lokiles running 17:38.77 (8th) and Wells 17:40.10 (9th). Hayley Stegall and Hannah Faudi added personal bests in the 1500m, running 4:51.08 and 4:51.67.
Rachael Brewer highlighted the hurdles group with a personal-best 1:04.39 in the 400m hurdles.
On the men's side, Carter Bradford continued his strong form with a 14:38.19 personal record to win the 5000m. Cruz Hesling added a season-best 14:59.25 for 8th, while Zak Myles-Hawkins earned 3rd in the 1500m with a time of 3:50.22.
