Grainne Moran Named OVC Indoor Track and Field Freshman of The Week
Tennessee Tech freshman Grainne Moran earned OVC Indoor Track & Field Freshman Athlete of the Week after her solid performance at the UAB Green and Gold Invite.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.- Tennessee Tech freshman Grainne Moran earned OVC Indoor Track & Field Freshman Athlete of the Week after her solid performance at the UAB Green and Gold Invite.
In her first collegiate 800m, Moran stormed to a 2nd‑place finish in a 51‑athlete field, clocking a time of 2:09.93. The performance gives her the top OVC 800m time and puts her within 0.1 seconds of the Tech program record. Moran also anchored the Golden Eagles' 4x400m relay, helping the squad post a time of 3:57.49 to finish 6th in a 14‑team field.
