Tech Track & Field Opens Indoor Season at Vanderbilt Invitational
The Tennessee Tech Track & Field program kicks off its 2025-2026 campaign with a two-day event on Friday, January 16, at 9:20 AM, and Saturday, January 17, at 9:00 AM, in Nashville at the Vanderbilt Invitational.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech Women's Track & Field kicks off its 2025-2026 campaign with a two-day event on Friday, January 16, at 9:20 a.m., and Saturday, January 17, at 9:00 a.m., in Nashville at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
The event will take place in Vanderbilt's Multipurpose facility, which includes a 120-yard-long indoor practice field, surrounded by a six-lane track and a 300-meter indoor track.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
The OVC named Tech Sprinter Hannah Little and High Jumper Ally Beneke as student-athletes to watch for this season. Naomy Lokiles returns after a podium finish in the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Junior Madison Johnson and freshman newcomer Ally Beneke lead tech's High Jump squad. Ally Beneke jumped a career best 1.68m 5' 6" at the UAB Vulcan Invitational on Feb 7, 2025. Madison Johnson posted a career best 1.65m 5' 5" at the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships on Feb 25-26, 2025.
Frisco, Texas native Carrie Flowers (FR) will be the Golden Eagles' lone hurdler this season.
Tech's Asharee Davis (FR), Tyla Street (SO), Sophia Ludwig (JR), and Sidnee Stanton (SR) will anchor the Golden Eagles' jumping group this season, competing across a combination of jumping events.
Freshman Grainne Moran will specialize in mid-distance for Tech. Moran competed in Ireland, posting impressive times of 57.48 in the 400m and 2:10.21 in the 800m.
Freshman Chase Wolfenbarger and Junior Angela Hoover will be competing in multiple events for the Golden Eagles in this campaign. Wolfenbarger won the Class AA Triple Jump Championship in 2025.
Junior Angela Hoover will compete in Pole Vault for the Golden Eagles. Hoover competed in the Pentathlon with a score of 1856 at the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships on Feb 25-26, 2025.
Tech's sprinting squad consists of Kyla Joy (FR), Analee Seratt (FR), Kennedi Winbush (FR), Hannah Little (SO), Aliyah Kennedy (SO), Rachael Brewer (SO), and Paris Bowles (SR).
The Golden Eagles' distance squad features Joy Jepleting (FR), Jane Lokiles (FR), Savanna Amos (SO), Alexis Dotson (SO), Hannah Faudi (SO), Megan Forstner (SO), Zaely Tilt (SO), Rylee Wells (SO), Hayley Stegall (JR), Naomy Lokiles (JR), Makaleigh Jessee (JR), and Lauryn Jackson (SR).
