Tickets to football game at Georgia on sale through TTU Athletics
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech football season ticket
holders and TTU students will have first priority in purchasing
tickets to the Golden Eagle football game at the University of
Georgia this fall. Donors to the Athletics Association and
Tennessee Tech alumni will also have priority in purchasing tickets
to the game, which is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, in
Athens.
A limited number of tickets are available through the Athletics
Ticket Office in Eblen Center, priced at $45 each. Tickets may be
purchased in person at the ticket office, or by calling (931)
372-3940. Tickets are also on sale online at TTUsports.com.
The contest will be the second between the Golden Eagles and the
Bulldogs, the first since 1943.
The Golden Eagles face the Bulldogs in the non-conference game in
historic Sanford Stadium, which seats 92,746, the fifth-largest
on-campus stadium in the country and the 15th largest stadium in
the world.
The game is Georgia’s Homecoming, meaning a likely sellout.
That would set a new Ohio Valley Conference attendance record,
breaking the mark set two years ago when Tech played at Auburn in
front of more then 85,000 fans.
