York Trophy presentation at O'Charley's Dinner to air on CSS
Coach Watson Brown and the Golden Eagle seniors accepting the 2009 Sgt. York Trophy will be featured when CSS airs a 30-minute highlight program of the recent O'Charley's Dinner of Champions. The show will air April 1, 9 and 11.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech football coach Watson Brown
and the Golden Eagle seniors accepting the 2009 Sgt. York Trophy
will be among the features when CSS airs a 30-minute highlight
program of the recent O'Charley's Dinner of Champions held in
Nashville.
The highlight show is scheduled to air on Thursday, April 1 at 6
p.m. CST. It will also be seen on Friday, April 9 at 3 p.m. and
again on Sunday, April 11 at 11 a.m.
The Golden Eagles captured the York Trophy -- named for WWI hero
Sgt. Alvin York -- after sweeping their three Ohio Valley
Conference games against Austin Peay, UT Martin and Tennessee
State.
