Golden Eagle softball team feted for posting highest GPA in nation

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- University preisdent Dr. Bob Bell and First Lady Gloria Bell hosted the Tennessee Tech softball team Thursday evening to recognize coach Tory Acheson's Golden Eagles for earning the highest GPA in the country for the 2007-08 year.
