2026 (Freshman - Outdoor): Opened the outdoor season at the UAB Spring Invitational (Mar 27-28), running 57.31 in the 400m … Added a 5th place finish in the 400m at the Catamount Classic (Apr 24-25) after crossing in 56.95 … Clocked 56.87 in the 400m at the Outdoor Music City Challenge (May 1-2) … Closed the season at the OVC  Outdoor Championships (May 14-16), placing 4th in the 400m in 56.64 after running 55.50 in the prelims … Also helped Tennessee Tech finish runner-up in the 4x400-meter relay, combining for a time of 3:44.92. 

2026 (Freshman - Indoor): Joy opened her collegiate career at the Vanderbilt Invitational (Jan 16–17), running 59.43 in the 400m and competing on Tech’s 4x400m relay (3:53.67) … Closed the season at the OVC Indoor Championships (Feb 24–25), contributing to Tennessee Tech’s OVC‑winning 4x400m relay, which ran 3:47.51 to secure the conference title. She also ran on the DMR, helping Tech finish 5th.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Tech Track & Field delivered a strong two-day showing at the Music City Challenge, highlighted by a school-record performance and multiple personal bests.  “It was an excellent two days in Music City for the Golden Eagles," said Tech head coach Peter Dalton. "There was a lot of energy in the group, and we saw a lot of really exceptional performances. We’re excited about the OVC Championships, and I know we can finish this season off in style.”
