Logan Weedman Named to OVC-Big South All-Academic Team
Tennessee Tech senior captain offensive lineman Logan Weedman was named to the OVC-Big South All-Academic Team, as announced today by the Association.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech senior captain offensive lineman Logan Weedman was named to the OVC-Big South All-Academic Team, as announced today by the Association.
Senior captain and offensive lineman Logan Weedman has been named to the OVC-Big South All-Academic Team after posting a GPA higher than 3.3 and leading the Golden Eagles to an 11-2 overall record, including 8-0 in conference play.
The senior from Owensboro, Kentucky, is currently pursuing a Master's in Engineering. Weedman earned a 3.46 GPA while serving as a captain on the football team and starting every game at offensive line. He was the top-ranked TTU offensive lineman in grades on PFF (Total: 75.1), Run block (72.0), pass block (79.5). Weedman's PFF rankings are fourth in the nation among FCS offensive tackles. Per PFF, he allowed just three sacks in 775 total snaps this season.
Weedman earned 2025 OVC-Big South 1st Team after helping the top-scoring offense in the OVC-Big South to 37.5 points per game. As well as the top rushing offense in the Association, averaging 187.5 yards per game, and the most efficient offense (149.6).
The Golden Eagles finished No. 27 in total offense, No. 23 in rushing offense, No. 10 in scoring offense, and No. 22 in team passing efficiency among FCS teams.
The Golden Eagles set program records in points scored (488), TD scored (65), rushing touchdowns (32), total offense (5,119), first downs (262), passing first downs (126), and passing touchdowns (28) in a single season.
