2025 (Redshirt Junior): Appeared in 48 games, hitting .288 (42x146) with seven doubles, three home runs, and a career-high 28 RBI... Reached base at a .397 clip and slugged .397... Has 124 hits over three seasons with the Golden Eagles, including 42 during 2025 season... Has hit 12 home runs in three years with three during 2025 campaign... 2023 (Redshirt Freshman): Garza played in 48 of the team’s 55 games, making 46 starts, including 41 at second base and five as the designated hitter… slashed .272/.333/.411 for the year… piled up 49 hits, 26 runs, seven doubles, six home runs, 21 RBI, and 16 walks… made his collegiate debut with a double on opening day against Bowling Green (Feb. 17)… smashed his first round-tripper against Bowling Green (Feb. 18)… racked up a season-high three hits against UT Martin (Apr. 21) and again versus SIUE (May 5)… crushed a pair of bombs at #22 Georgia Tech (Feb. 24) for his first career multi-home run game… drove in a season-best two runs in four contests… scored a season-high two runs six times… strung together both a 14-game hitting streak and 21-game reached base streak, both ranking third on the team… hit .349 over the team’s final 22 games of the year, recording eight multi-hit efforts over the span.

2022 (Freshman – Grayson College): Garza sat out the 2022 season at Grayson College as a redshirt due to injury.

High School: Garza was a two-sport athlete at Rio Grande City High School in Rio Grande City, Texas, playing third base for four seasons for head baseball coach Roque Cortinas and outside linebacker for one year for head football coach Leo Mireles… led RGCHS to the 2021 District 30-5A title and bid to the 5A playoffs behind an 18-7 mark (10-0 in district play)… as a senior, hit .369 with 20 runs and 16 RBI… totaled a .421 average with two doubles, two triples, 11 runs, seven RBI, and six stolen bases as a junior before the remainder of the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… hit .350 with 14 doubles, two triples, two home runs, 30 runs, 24 RBI, eight stolen bases during his sophomore campaign… shared The Monitor’s All-Area Co-Newcomer of the Year Award with his twin brother Manny… named to the 31-5A All-District Second Team as a freshman and sophomore… earned a spot at the Under Armour National Texas Showcase in 2020… recognized on the 2020 Perfect Game Preseason All-Region Underclass Second Team… honored as a Flat Bill Baseball/THSB 5A Region IV Top 50 Player… given a 9.0 grade by Perfect Game coming out of high school, projecting him to be a potential top-10 MLB Draft pick or one of the highest level college prospects… listed as the No. 9 third base prospect in the state of Texas and a top-125 prospect for the state by Perfect Game.
