Golden Eagle women's golf team to host eighth annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team returns to Sevierville, Tenn. for the first time since 2019, for the eighth annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club. Play begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday while teams compete on the Highlands Course.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women's golf team returns to Sevierville, Tenn. for the first time since 2019, for the eighth annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at Sevierville Golf Club. Play begins Sunday and will run through Tuesday while teams compete on the Highlands Course.
BOBBY NICHOLS INTERCOLLEGIATE: Mar. 14-16, 2021 – 54 holes (18 Sunday, 18 Monday, 18 Tuesday), located at the par-71, 5,803-yard Highlands Course at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn. Play will begin each day with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. CT.
GOLDEN EAGLE LINEUP: The Golden Eagles will field two teams in Sevierville. Competing for the purple team are senior Hannah Bratton, junior Heidi Lawson, sophomore Elisabeth Toennessen, freshman Ainsley Simms and sophomore Katrine Toennessen. Competing for the golf team are redshirt senior Arianna Clemmer, sophomore Gittle Sciolis, senior Kate Mashburn, sophomore Makenzie Morton and senior Isabel York.
THE COMPETITION: The 14-team field consists of two teams for host Tennessee Tech, as well as Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Carson-Newman, Eastern Kentucky, Findlay, Indiana State, Northern Kentucky, Radford, Tennessee Tech, Tusculum, UNI, Western Carolina.
THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH POLK BROWN: "We are very excited to get back to Sevierville to host the BNI. It was the first event on our schedule last spring that was cancelled due to the pandemic, so we are looking forward to hosting once again. The staff at Sevierville Golf Club has done an amazing job over the years taking care of us, and this year will be no different. We have a great field and are ready to compete once again as we head into the main portion of the spring season."
