Spring 2020 (Freshman): Toennessen did not participate in the team's only event of the spring before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fall 2019 (Freshman): Toennessen took part in three of Tech's five fall tournaments, finishing eight rounds of action… made her collegiate debut at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate (Sept. 30-Oct. 1), posting a 78-81-77=236 to earn a top-20 finish… fired a low round of 72 in the first round of the Town and Country Invitational (Oct. 28-29), finishing with a 153 overall… wrapped up the fall with a scoring average of 78.88.
High School: Toennessen attended Wang Toppidrett in Tonsberg, Norway… joined her sisters in competing for the Grimstad GolfKlub… claimed victory in the 1st Division Team NM competition, earning the right to play in the elite division next year and compete among the eight best teams in all of Norway.
Personal: Daughter of Trine and Torbjorn Toennessen… born March 19, 2000… full name is Elisabeth Toennessen… her twin sister, Katrine, also plays for Golden Eagles… oldest sister, Maria, played golf at Ole Miss from 2013-17… joined her twin sister Katrine as the first international signees in program history.
Academic: Majoring in marketing… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice and to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once… recognized as a WGCA All-American Scholar for 2019-20.
