Spring 2020 (Freshman): Morton did not participate in the team's only event of the spring before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fall 2019 (Freshman): Morton participated in one of Tech's five fall tournaments, completing two rounds of play… made her collegiate debut at the Dayton Flyer Invitational (Oct. 14-15)… posted a 169 at the event with a low round of 82… finished the fall with a scoring average of 84.50.
High School: Morton played for head coach Eric Mitchel at White County High School in Sparta… led her team to three district titles during her career at White County… helped her team to a TSSAA Region 3 championship as a junior, posting the lowest score on the team… earned medalist honors at the district championship as a senior.
Personal: Daughter of Charlotte Smallen and Mark Morton… born October 3, 2000… full name is Makenzie Morton.
Academic: Majoring in agriculture… named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll twice and to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll once.
