2025 (Tennessee Tech, Redshirt Senior): Named OVC offensive player of the year after leading the OVC-Big South in passing touchdowns with a program record 25, second in the Conference with 2,486 passing yards, and second in completion percentage... Led the Golden Eagles to their first 8-0 conference record and an NCAA playoff berth for the second time in program history.

2024 (Eastern Washington, Redshirt Junior): Played in and started 11 games, missing one with injury (vs. Montana State) ... Passed for a season-high 319 yards along with 2 touchdowns vs. UC Davis (10/19/24) ... Finished the season with a completion percentage of 74.3%, ranking first in the Big Sky and first in the country ... Set a career-high in completions against Idaho State, completing 100% of his passes ... Averaged over 200 passing yards a game this season, ranking 7th in the Big Sky ... Earned first team All-4A South Puget Sound League honors as a junior in 2019 for the Braves ... Passed for 2,500 yards and 27 touchdowns that season in helping Bethel finish 8-4 overall and 6-1 as the runner-up in the 3A Pierce County League ... The Braves beat Garfield 21-0 in the first round of the State 3A Playoffs before falling to Kennewick 21-20 in the quarterfinals ... Kekoa Visperas Earns Finalist nod for Walter Payton Award

Tennessee Tech quarterback Kekoa Visperas has earned selection to the Finalists List for the Walter Payton Award, which honors the nation’s best offensive player, as announced today by Stats Perform.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – As the summer continues to wear on, more preseason honors have been announced for the Tennessee Tech football team as PhilSteele.com released its All-Ohio Valley Conference/Big South Conference teams Thursday night. In addition to the teams, graduate defensive back Tim Coutras was named the organization’s pick as the OVC/Big South Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Tech collected 17 players across 19 spots – Tremel Jones made all three teams as a kick returner, all-purpose player and a punt returner.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – As the Ohio Valley Conference and Big South Conference football coaches and student-athletes huddled around computer monitors for the annual Football Media Day, optimism rang out across the field with a new season ahead and a whole lot of new names and faces across the league. Tennessee Tech is no exception, but with the defensive leadership of defensive back Tim Coutras and linebacker Aaron Swafford representing the team on the call, the returning talent is just as important as any talk of the transfer portal. Especially with a defense as strong as the Golden Eagles were last season.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech football team made some incredible strides last season under the direction of head coach Bobby Wilder as the Golden Eagles claimed their 11th Ohio Valley Conference championship among a four-way tie. This season, the Golden Eagles are looking for more and the OVC-Big South coaches agree, knowing the potential is there as Tech was picked first in the combined conferences’ preseason poll on Wednesday. The pick is a huge indicator of growth in just a year’s time, but Wilder isn’t content to rest on the preseason laurels.

Among the leagues’ Offensive Preseason Players to Watch, Tennessee Tech came away with seven picks – three returning from last year’s team, showing the strength of the offseason transfers head coach Bobby Wilder and his staff brought in to bolster the Golden Eagle lineup. The representatives included quarterback Kekoa Visperas, running back Aidan Littles, wide receiver Noah Robinson, tight end Brian Courtney, offensive lineman Drew Wilder, all-purpose standout Tremel Jones and placekicker Dom LeBlanc.
