Fans asked to wear pink to OVC doubleheader Thursday night
Golden Eagle basketball fans are reminded to wear something pink to the games Thursday night as the Tennessee Tech women's basketball team hosts "Think Pink" night in Eblen Center.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Golden Eagle basketball fans are reminded
to wear something pink to the games Thursday night as the Tennessee
Tech women's basketball team hosts "Think Pink" night in Eblen
Center.
Tech hosts Murray State in an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader,
with the women's game tipping off at 5:30 p.m. The night is also
"Pack The House" Night as Tech attempts to break the school
attendance record for women's basketball.
Tech is one of the more than 1,000 teams around the nation that
are taking part in the "Think Pink" effort to increase breast
cancer awareness. The poject is sponsored by the Women's Basketball
Coaches Association.
