2010 OVC Womens Basketball Semifinals and Championship to be televised by Wazoo Sports
The Ohio Valley Conference announced last Friday that the Conferences 2010 Womens Basketball semifinals and championship will be produced and televised on Wazoo Sports. It marks the first time that the womens semifinals will be televised live.
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference announced
Friday that the Conference’s 2010 Women’s Basketball
semifinals and championship will be produced and televised on Wazoo
Sports. It marks the first time that the women’s semifinals
will be televised live.
The semifinals will take place on March 5 while the championship
will be held on March 6 at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn.
The two semifinals tip at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m CT while the
championship begins at 3 p.m. Gary Gupton and Will Perdue will
provide the analysis and play-by-play for Wazoo.
“Women’s basketball is important to the fabric of the
Ohio Valley Conference. This is a positive step in drawing more
attention to and further enhancing our commitment to the
sport.” said Beth DeBauche, OVC Commissioner.
