Tech Athletics to host Tailgate events during OVC Softball Tournament
When the Tech softball team bids for the 2010 OVC championship this week at UT Martin, Golden Eagle fans, alumni and family are invited to join Director of Athletics Mark Wilson for tailgate events at the field prior to each game.
MARTIN, Tenn. -- When the Tennessee Tech softball team bids for the 2010 Ohio Valley Conference championship this week at UT Martin, Golden Eagle fans, alumni and family are invited to join TTU Director of Athletics Mark Wilson for tailgate events at the field prior to each game.
The Tennessee Tech Athletics Association will provide snacks and beverages at the event.
support head coach Tory Acheson and the Golden Eagles as they
bid for their seventh OVC tournament championship and a berth to
the 2010 NCAA tournament.
The Golden Eagles open tournament play Thursday at 11 a.m. CDT
against Morehead State, so the first tailgate event will get
underway at 10 a.m. Look for the purple tent.
