Tech Cross Country is Ready to Compete in Angel Mounds Invitational
Tennessee Tech men’s and women’s cross country is set to compete at the Angel Mounds Invitational, hosted by Evansville.

Evansville, Ind. - Tennessee Tech men's and women's cross country is set to compete at the Angel Mounds Invitational, hosted by Evansville.
The Golden Eagles will look to build from their 11th (men) and 8th (women) place finishes at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic. The men's 8k will begin at 9 a.m. CT, and the women's 6k begins at 9:50 a.m. CT, on Friday, Oct. 17. This course is the home course for both the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana. This is a championship-level course, which is set to hold the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Championship.

At the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic, the women's team competed in the women's gold 5k race and finished 8th out of 31 teams with 318 points, trailing programs like Clemson and West Virginia. Naomy Lokiles led the women's team with a time of 17:29.5, finishing 27th out of 305 female runners.
The men's team finished 11th out of 32 teams in the men's gold 8k, scoring 342 points. Carter Bradford led the Golden Eagles with a time of 24:33.3, finishing 34th out of 326 male runners.
