Carter Bradford, Naomy Lokiles Sweep OVC Runners of the Week
Tennessee Tech Cross Country swept the OVC Runners of the Week honors with Carter Bradford and Naomy Lokiles both taking home the conference honors after their solid efforts at the Swags Louisville Classic.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Tech Cross Country swept the OVC Runners of the Week honors with Carter Bradford and Naomy Lokiles taking home the conference honors after their solid efforts at the Swags Louisville Classic.
Naomy Lokiles (27th, 17:29.5) and Carter Bradford (34th, 24:33.3) recorded the fastest times of their collegiate careers to lead the team to Top 12 finishes. The women's team finished 8th among a deep field of 34 teams and the men's 11th among 35 teams at the Swags Louisville Classic.
This marks the first OVC Runner of the Week honor for Lokiles and Bradford this season.
Lokiles' time of 17:29.5 was the fastest of her career in the 5k, surpassing her previous best of 18:11.7 set at the Southern Showcase in September.
Bradford's time of 24:33.3 was the fastest of his career in the 8k, surpassing his previous best of 24:59.0 set at the OVC Cross Country Championships in 2024.
The men's and women's cross country teams had their best all-around performance considering the depth of the competition at the Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic. It's the second time the women's team has finished in the top 10 and the second time the men's team has clocked a top 12 finish this season.
