98.5 KISS FM Tailgate Park ready to rock for 2019 football season
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The 98.5 KISS FM Tailgate Park will be rocking before every Tennessee Tech home game this season as several local acts will take to the stage. In addition to the concert line-up, the Tailgate Park will also feature a slightly different configuration this season, allowing easier access to the parking areas around Tucker Stadium and a streamlined area marked off for those participating in the tailgate. COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The 98.5 KISS FM Tailgate Park will be rocking before every Tennessee Tech home game this season as several local acts will take to the stage.

The 98.5 KISS FM Tailgate Park opens up three hours before kickoff. The Tech football team will hold its Eagle Walk through the park two hours and 15 minutes before game time, while the Golden Eagle Marching Band and the Tennessee Tech cheer and dance teams will perform.
Performing on the stage this year are:
- The Calm & Commotion -- 8/31 (vs. Samford) – an Americana/Alt-rock band from Cookeville, the group boasts a flavorful blend of original songs focused on inviting melodies, rich, vocal harmonies and thoughtful lyrics. The band was formed in 2015 and has continued to perform all over the Upper Cumberland.
- Shattered -- 9/14 (vs. Virginia-Wise) and 11/9 (vs. Jacksonville State) – From Sparta, Shattered is a country, classic rock, southern rock band that has been featured all over the mid-state.
- Rigid Class -- 10/12 (vs. UT Martin) – Performing for 12 years and since they were kids, this band, featuring influences all the way from Robert Johnson to Green Day, strives to bring back what they feel music has lost – 'genuine, honest and pure straight-forward Rock and Roll.'
- The Smoky Nights -- 10/26 (vs. Austin Peay) and Nov. 23 (vs. Tennessee State) – Having just released its first album in July, this local favorite blends soul, pop, folk, rhythm and blues and rock with a diverse range of instrumentation.
