Golden Eagles seal OVC tournament spot
For the first time since 2003, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles
are in the Ohio Valley Conference post-season soccer
tournament.
Led by first year head coach Becky Fletcher, who was an assistant
on the Tech staff from 1999-2001, the Golden Eagles posted a 3-4-1
conference record, and earned the no. 6 seed in the OVC
tournament.
Tech will travel to no. 3 UT Martin on Nov. 4 for their opening
round game, with the semi-finals and finals being played at OVC
champion Murray State on Nov. 7 and 9.
The Golden Eagles will wrap up their regular season schedule with a
non-conference game against Lipscomb on Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. at Tech
Soccer Field. Admission to Tech home soccer games is free.
