With Haley Stewart coming in to pinch run for Kirby, Stewart took off for second, allowing Martin to swipe home on the double steal.

In game two, Klinefelter, Jailynn Paderez and Brooklyn Stewart had the three Golden Eagle hits. Tech took over the lead with two runs in the top of the second inning as Stewart drew a bases-loaded walk to force Makayli Harris across, then Alina Schlageter drove in Bailee Stack with a grounder back to the circle.
