Play Cancelled in Florida, Softball continues trip home
The softball game between Tennessee Tech and Florida A&M has been cancelled due to unplayable conditions.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Due to weather, the Tennessee Tech softball team will not play against Florida A&M Tuesday in it's final non-conference swing. The Golden Eagles will continue on to Thomas University, (Ga.) to face the Night Hawks in a single game Wednesday at 1 p.m.
The Golden Eagles (10-9) open Ohio Valley Conference action Saturday at Morehead State before finally returning to their own field for the season home-opener. Tech will play two double-headers opening weekend, facing off against Murray Saturday and APSU Sunday.
