Spring 2024 (Freshman – Emory & Henry): Bright took part in one of Emory & Henry's four spring events, finishing two rounds of play… delivered a season-best 74 in the opening round of the Fincastle/Glenrochie Challenge (Mar. 2-3)… posted a 152 for the two-hole event, tying for sixth overall… concluded the year with a 79.80 scoring average.
Fall 2023 (Freshman – Emory & Henry): Bright competed in one of the team's four fall tournaments, finishing three rounds of action… made his collegiate debut with a 247 at the Barton Intercollegiate (Oct. 16-17)… ended the fall with a scoring average of 82.33.
High School: Bright was a two-sport athlete at Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Va., earning four letters in golf for head coach Andy Henritzie and one letter in tennis for head coach Mark Hough… was a two-year team captain in golf and one-time captain in tennis… collected All-State First Team honors as a senior… earned a pair of All-Region First Team honors and three All-District First Team accolades during his career… named District Player of the Year as a freshman after two tournament victories… captured two more tournament wins during his high school career.
