Golden Eagles return to Sevierville to host Third Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate
It’s that time of year again for the Tennessee Tech men’s golf team, as the Golden Eagles play host to the Third Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at the Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It's that time of year again for the Tennessee Tech men's golf team, as the Golden Eagles play host to the Third Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at the Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn.
Play will begin on Monday, the 16th, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET. Day one will feature 36 holes on the River Course and play at a par-72 and 6,713 yards.
Day two will conclude play on Tuesday, the 17th, beginning with a shotgun start, at 10:00 a.m., again on the River Course. The final 18 holes will be played at a par-72 and 6,691 yards.
The field will consist of 14 teams, including:

Eastern Kentucky
Evansville
Jacksonville State
Longwood
Murray State
Samford
Southern Illinois
Tennessee State
Tennessee Tech
UT Martin
West Georgia
Wright State
The Golden Eagles enter their own event after nearly taking home the top spot at the Grover Page Classic last week. With rain forcing the cancelation of the final round of play, Tech battled through three tie-breaker rounds before finishing in second place to tournament host UT Martin.
"After a solid performance this past week, we're looking to continue that momentum for our tournament," head coach Polk Brown said. "It's always an honor to host an event, especially one associated with a man like Bobby Nichols. I know the guys are excited to build on the success of this past week at UT Martin. We're ready to go."
