High School: Strong was a three-sport athlete at Clay County High School in Celina, Tenn., lettering four years in basketball for head coach Rob Edwards, one year in football for head coach Jake Johnson, and one year in baseball for head coach Lee Boles… was a two-time TSSAA Mr. Basketball Award winner, collecting Class A honors in 2021 and Class 1A in 2022… named the 2021 TSSAA Class A State Tournament MVP after leading Clay County to its first state title in school history… honored as District 6A Tournament MVP twice and District 7A Tournament MVP once… selected Region 3A Tournament MVP as a junior and Region 4A Tournament MVP as a senior… led CCHS to three District 6A titles, a District 7A championship, two Region 3 crowns, and a Region 4 title… as a senior, averaged 36.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game… averaged 32.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game as a junior… tallied 23.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game during his sophomore campaign… ended his career second all-time in CCHS history in scoring with 2,774 points… posted three of the top-five scoring averages in school history, including second, third, and fifth… hauled in the third-most rebounds in school history with 863… set the Clay County single game record with 13 assists as a sophomore and the single game mark with 22 rebounds as a senior… boasted three of the top-five single-game rebound performances in school history… turned in the school record of eight assists in a single game as a senior… career-high 48 points as a junior represents the third-most in school history while his 47 as a senior is tied for fourth… posted six of the top-10 single game scoring efforts in school history… finished his career with 30 or more points 39 times and 40+ points nine times.
