Game times announced for 2026 Tech Football home games
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the excitement of Tennessee Tech Football entering its inaugural season in the Southern Conference on the heels to back-to-back championships, as well as the first season of a revitalized Tucker Stadium, the time is right to head back to Cookeville and the Tech campus to welcome in a new era of Golden Eagle Football. Fans looking to make their travel plans to Tucker Stadium now can add the kickoff times to their calendars.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the excitement of Tennessee Tech Football entering its inaugural season in the Southern Conference on the heels to back-to-back championships, as well as the first season of a revitalized Tucker Stadium, the time is right to head back to Cookeville and the Tech campus to welcome in a new era of Golden Eagle Football.
Fans looking to make their travel plans to Tucker Stadium now can add the kickoff times to their calendars.
The first two games at home will feature 6 PM starts as the Golden Eagles entertain Monmouth on August 29, then Samford on Sept. 12 for the Legends Weekend and Family Weekend game.
The Hawks went 9-3 last season, including a 6-2 record in the Colonial Athletic Conference and narrowly missed a berth in the FCS Playoffs as Monmouth closed out their campaign with a 31-24 loss to Albany. Samford went 1-11 last season, including a 1-7 mark in the SoCon.
The other four games in the home slate will feature 1:30 kickoffs, including Furman (Oct. 10), Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 17), the annual Homecoming game with this year's opponent VMI (Nov. 7), then the regular-season home finale against Mercer (Nov. 14).
The Paladins finished 2025 with a 6-6 record, 4-4 in the SoCon. The Colonels – a familiar foe for the Golden Eagles in their Ohio Valley Conference days – went 5-7 a year ago with a 3-5 record in the United Athletic Conference. VMI finished 1-11, going 0-8 in the SoCon. Mercer claimed its second-straight SoCon title last season, going 8-0 in the conference and 9-3 overall to earn an FCS Playoff bid.
