COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The wait is over as the Tennessee Tech Football team gets set to take the field on Saturday afternoon for the first time this season as the FCS No. 21-ranked Golden Eagles host Cumberland. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. Roger Ealey and Frank Harrell will have the radio call on 106.1 The Eagle, while Dylan Vazzano and Sam Brooks will narrate the action on ESPN+ (subscription required).

Tech Football gets 17 players on PhilSteele.com All-OVC/Big South teams, Coutras Preseason Defensive Player of the Year

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – As the summer continues to wear on, more preseason honors have been announced for the Tennessee Tech football team as PhilSteele.com released its All-Ohio Valley Conference/Big South Conference teams Thursday night. In addition to the teams, graduate defensive back Tim Coutras was named the organization’s pick as the OVC/Big South Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Tech collected 17 players across 19 spots – Tremel Jones made all three teams as a kick returner, all-purpose player and a punt returner.
