Tech Football showcasing returning stars, new faces Saturday at Spring Game
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It’ll be an exciting Saturday at Tucker Stadium as fans will get a chance to preview the 2025 Tennessee Tech Football team as the Golden Eagles host their annual Spring Game. The game is open to the public as Tech’s offensive and defensive units square off on the turf, putting everything they’ve learned so far in spring practice together in a showcase of the Golden Eagles’ returning standouts and new faces.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – It'll be an exciting Saturday at Tucker Stadium as fans will get a chance to preview the 2025 Tennessee Tech Football team as the Golden Eagles host their annual Spring Game.
The game is open to the public as Tech's offensive and defensive units square off on the turf, putting everything they've learned so far in spring practice together in a showcase of the Golden Eagles' returning standouts and new faces.
Tech fans will also have a chance to order tickets for the upcoming campaign.
The day will start for Tech football alumni, players and coaches and their families as they will gather for an alumni cookout at 12 p.m. as the team honors its past and its award-winners before getting ready for the Spring Game. The cookout is not open to the public, but to the football alumni and their families and the teams' families.
The Golden Eagles earned a share of the Big South-Ohio Valley Conference championship this past season while winning the Sergeant York Trophy outright with wins over Tennessee State and UT Martin in the round-robin.
Tech finished 7-5 overall and 6-2 in the Big South-OVC. Stats Perform's Craig Haley ranked the Golden Eagles No. 19 in his "Way Too Early" Top 25 poll.
The 2025 season opens at home on August 30 as the Golden Eagles host Cumberland for the first of seven home games in Tucker Stadium this year.
