Tech women head south for spring break tournament
While other students are off on spring break, the Tennessee Tech women's golf team will be hard at work at the Lady Eagle Invitational in Hattiesburg, Miss.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- While other students are off on spring break, the Tennessee Tech women's golf team will be hard at work at the Lady Eagle Invitational in Hattiesburg, Miss.
The 36-hole tournament, hosted by Southern Mississippi, is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Hattiesburg Country Club. The 16-team field will play 18 holes on each Monday and Tuesday on the par-72, 6,111 yard course.
Tech joins Southern Miss, Jackson State, Louisiana-Monroe, Marshall, Memphis, New Orleans, South Alabama, Stephen F. Austin, Troy, UAB, UT-Pan American, West Florida, William Carey and Ohio Valley Conference rivals Austin Peay and Belmont.
