IN HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time state champion at
Greeneville High School, Terrell was named the Knoxville News
Sentinel's PrepXtra Defensive Player of the Year and was a
major part of the "Golden Age" of football for the Greene Devils
with a combined four-year 51-8 record. Helping coach Caine
Ballard's team to the TSSAA state playoffs all four years, they
lost the Class 4A championship game in 2009 and came back to clinch
the crown on Tech's Overall Field in 2010 and 2011. As a
senior, he recorded 102 total tackles including 23 tackles-for-loss
and had 7.5 quarterback sacks. He won the Class AA Mr. Football
Lineman award and was the defensive MVP of the state title game.
Terrell was also named the Greeneville Sun Defensive Player of the
Year, TSWA All-State twice and earned a spot on the Murphy Fair
All-State team the past two years.
