COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech baseball team returns home to host Ohio Valley Conference opponent Eastern Kentucky for a three-game weekend series. The Golden Eagles and Colonels are scheduled for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, and a single game starting at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Tech (13-12, 1-7) is coming off a three-game series against Morehead State in which the Golden Eagles got their first OVC win in the series opener, beating the Eagles 17-16 in 10 innings, before dropping the final two games.

The Colonels enter the week at 18-9 and 6-3 in the OVC, and are one of the conference's best offensive teams.
