2019 (Sophomore): Ran in five meets… claimed a personal-best in the 5K with a time of 20.44.10, earning a season-best 15th-place overall finish at the Upstate Invitational (Oct. 5)… ran a personal-best 6K with a time of 26:41.40 at the Commodore Classic (Sept. 14).
2018 (Freshman): Brugere did not participate in cross country... was a member of the Tech volleyball team.
High School: Brugere comes to Tech from Francis Howell High School in Missouri, where she was a libero on the volleyball team for four years under Stacy Smith… tallied 1,217 digs and 77 aces in her career… named to the Gateway Athletic Conference South Division first team, the MHSVA Class 4 all-district second team and the AVCA All-America watch list in 2017… was also Class 4 all-region in 2016… helped Howell to a runner-up finish at the class 4 state volleyball tournament in 2016… also ran track throughout high school, specializing in the 400 and 800 meters… finished ninth at the 2018 state meet in the 800 meters and also qualified in the 4x800m relay.
Personal: Mother, Pam Phillips, played basketball at Weatherford College in Weatherford, Texas… sister Kirsten is a senior libero for Tech volleyball.
Academic: Majoring in nursing.
