2016 (Sophomore): Kafader appeared in 11 matches, tallying 182 minutes for TTU…took two shots…played a bulk of her minutes down the stretch, combining for 118 minutes in the last four minutes of the season…played in a career-high 45 minutes at Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 27…took a shot and played in 27 minutes in Tech’s first playoff victory since 2009 in a 3-0 win against Belmont in the first round of the OVC Tournament on Oct. 30…took a shot and registered 25 minutes of action in the OVC Tournament semifinals against Eastern Kentucky on Nov. 4.
2015 (Freshman): Kafader appeared in two matches for TTU, playing in 20 total minutes…tallied a season-high 11 minutes in a 1-1 tie against Chattanooga on Sep. 20.

For the second time in three weeks, senior Karigan Owens of the Tennessee Tech soccer team has been named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
A three-point effort by Karigan Owens and another stellar effort by Tennessee Tech soccer team was the story Sunday afternoon, as the Golden Eagles took down Eastern Kentucky, 2-0, in the second to last match of the regular season.
CHARLESTON, Ill. – For the second straight contest, defense was the theme of the day for the Tennessee Tech soccer team, as the Golden Eagles fought to a scoreless, nil-nil draw at Eastern Illinois Sunday afternoon.
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Defense was the name of the game in the Tennessee Tech soccer team’s Friday night OVC clash at SIUE.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech soccer team saw its bid at an upset just slip by the wayside Friday evening, managing to get its season-opening clash at Vanderbilt into overtime, but ultimately fell 1-0 in the early stages of the extra session.
